I recently had a truly delightful stay at this hotel. the warm welcome from the staff made me feel instantly at home. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable, with a comfortable bed that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast offered a satisfying variety of choices to start the day off right.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The food available via the restaurant although expensive was first class, gourmet standard in fact. I would consider returning purely to eat in the restaurant again.
The hotel was quite satisfactory for our purpose, just a stop over, however the property was a little jaded and our room and the general circulation areas would benefit from an uplift. The lounge and dining rooms were fine.

staff was ok but not exceptional, older building so you hear everybody tresspassing your door, the village is dead, nothing to do. One turkish restaurant and one franch frie restaurant, so best to stay in the hotel to eat, no choice. the hotel is near to a trainstation, we didn't hear anything, backside of the building

We had a fantastic and romantic escape at this quaint inn. The rooms were simple, but clean and cozy, providing the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the inn, next to the historic Maginot Line, added a touch of charm and offered interesting sightseeing opportunities. the restaurant served some of the best food we've ever had, with a mouthwatering menu and an ample selection of wines.
Although our overall experience was wonderful, the breakfast offered at the inn was not worth the additional cost. We would recommend skipping it and exploring some local cafes for a more authentic and economical experience.

The food in the restaurant is truly superb. The stylish lounge has all the original decorations dating from the 1920's when the hotel was rebuilt. The owners are very friendly. As the city of Longuyon itself seems to have little to attract tourists, this hotel is especially recommended as a stopping place for those heading for (or returning from) central or southern France - it is definitely worth a detour.

warm welcome even though on the first occasion (11 august) we arrived a day late! family hotel of great character, a fine mixture of good old fashioned quality and friendly professionalism throughout. our choices of meals prepared to perfection by le patron and served similarly with an excellent wine by the friendly wife of the patron and an attentive young lady. peaceful, comfortable night, freshly baked bread and croissants with proper coffee for breakfast. our return visit on 1 september an equally memorable occasion. will be back, though 400 miles away from home.

After a couple of days in Paris it was very relaxing to arrive at this hotel. The food was absolutle wonderful, the familyroom simple but absolutely exeptable especially considering price/quality. I was looking for a tradional small town 'Logi de France' hotel with a good restaurant and this filled all the boxes!
Some of the other comments found here on Bookings are not reflected in my own excperience of the hotel. Fortunately I had read some other sites that give excelllent (and fair reviews)

The reception was polite and friendly, as was the waiter service.
The room reeked of damp. At breakfast, we were the last to eat at about 08.30, there were shortages of basic items which were not replaced.

the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Secondly, the attention to detail was outstanding, with little touches that made a big difference. And finally, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to nearby attractions. One standout feature was the mouthwatering cheese board, piled high with a wide variety of delicious cheeses from all over France. It was a cheese lover's dream come true! Another highlight was the sumptuous dessert trolley, offering a tempting selection of sweet treats that left me spoilt for choice. All in all, this hotel provided an unforgettable experience.
No improvements needed, everything was absolutely perfect.

The room, although small, was comfortable and well equipped but the best thing about this hotel is the wonderful cuisine - well worth a considerable detour.

Restaurant was not cheap but very good.Staff were very helpful putting me in touch with a garage for a car problem.
Located across the road from the station; parking in the station was good and free but the occasional noise was a downside.

The hotel is conveniently located opposite the station, making it easy to find and accessible for travelers. This is ideal for those exploring the region or using it as a mid-way stop on their journey. the rooms, although average, are comfortable and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. the staff is welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Guests can enjoy a delicious and generous meal, with an impressive cheese board and a wide selection of desserts.
The breakfast offered at the hotel is not worth the price, and it would be advisable to skip it.

The hotel is old but we knew that before going there. The rooms are a good size and clean. The dinner at the hotel was the best meal we had on our 16 day vacation through 7 countries. Gerard, the owner and chef was wonderful and pleasant. When you stay in a hotel that was bombed during the war and then restored in 1921 you get what you expect. We had stayed there before in 2005 and we would without any thought stay there again.

Lovely, lovely man who owned the hotel who made us very welcome. was very friendly and spoke great English.
There was nothing wrong with the hotel but we struggled to find somewhere to eat as the hotel restaurant was closed that night (Monday). Didn't seem to be much to Longuyon.
